At British Spirals & Castings, we take privacy seriously and ensure any data you supply is properly and securely stored. The data will be stored on paper and/or digital format at our secure site and only accessed by persons authorised to do so. We will only hold the minimum amount of data required and when the data is no longer required for our trading purposes it will be deleted or destroyed securely.
Below you can read more detailed information about how we treat data collected from website visitors, or from customers who submit quote requests.
Visitors to our Website
We use a web analytic tool called Google Analytics to produce reports on how users interact with the website. Google Analytics collects information anonymously. It reports website trends without identifying individual visitors.
Like many services, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to track visitor interactions as in our case, where they are used to collect information about how visitors use our site. We then use the information for historical research purposes – to compile reports and to help us improve our site.
Google Analytics uses cookies containing information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. These cookies are used to store information, such as IP address, the time that the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before and what site referred the visitor to the web page. For more information view our Cookies Policy.
You can opt out of Google Analytics without affecting how you visit our site – for more information on opting out of being tracked by Google Analytics across all websites you use, visit this Google page.
We have also implemented Google Analytics features based on Display Advertising (Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting). You can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customise Google Display Network ads using the Ads Settings.

Once the order is complete, we may also use these details to gain your consent for our public relations advisors – Smith Goodfellow PR – to prepare a case study on your item. We will always contact you and obtain your clear consent for this before proceeding.
